Cross country ski trails in the Badaguish forest

Cross-country skiing

Using narrow skis and softer boots, cross-country skiing is closer to walking or running than anything else. A fun way to explore silent forests in the snow, it’s great cardiovascular exercise and needs no lifts or pistes. There are some perfect trails around Glenmore, Badaguish and Slochd, and if you’re less confident the paths around Aviemore Gold Course are a popular alternative!
